AI that reads, scores and explains. People decide.

Use as much AI as you want: reading, scoring on your own criteria, your own analyses. Every number comes with its reasons, and the decisions stay with your team.

What the AI does

Reads files
Extracts the text of PDF, Word, ODT, RTF and text files on our servers and fills one profile, with confidence per field.
Checks requirements
For each requirement in the job: found, partly found or not found, with the line from the CV.
Scores, if you turn it on
On your criteria and weights, with must-haves, nice-to-haves and knock-out questions, shown as 0–100 or 1–5. Off until your company switches it on.
Runs your own analyses
Nine ready templates, such as stability of experience, English from the cover letter and right to work. Or write your own in plain words.
Summarises and helps you write
Summary, strengths, what to check, interview questions, job ads and message drafts in Danish, English or Ukrainian. Job ads are checked for wording that may discriminate.

What it never does

  • Reject, move or hide a candidate. That is always done by a person, or by a knock-out rule your company wrote, with at least 60 minutes to cancel
  • Give a score without reasons: every criterion shows quotes, checked word for word against the CV
  • Write to a candidate on its own
  • Use age, gender, ethnicity or other protected traits. The bias guard is on by default and the output is filtered
  • Train models on your candidates' data

Every number has its reasons

Instead of a bare '82', you see each criterion, its weight and the lines in the CV behind it. Quotes the AI can't back up are thrown out. You can check every conclusion in seconds and explain your decision to the candidate.

The EU AI Act in short

AI systems that evaluate or rank job candidates are high-risk under the EU AI Act (Annex III). The obligations for such systems apply from 2 December 2027.

jah.dk is built for that: scoring is off until a company switches it on, every score is explained with criteria, weights and verified quotes, the AI never rejects anyone, and each decision is recorded as made by a person.

When a company turns scoring on, it confirms that its candidates are informed. Candidates can ask for an explanation and for a person to review their application.

Where the data goes

Text extraction runs on our servers in Germany. The AI step uses OpenAI's API (OpenAI Ireland Ltd.) under a data processing agreement. Data sent through the API is not used to train OpenAI's models; OpenAI may keep it for up to 30 days to detect abuse and then deletes it.

What to tell candidates

A sentence you can use in your job ads: “We use software that reads applications and, based on our criteria, summarises and scores them for us. It never rejects anyone. A person reads every application and makes the decision.”
