Jobs and hiring projects

A hiring project is a job with a goal attached: how many people you need, the last day to apply, and the date you need them by. The project keeps time for you and closes cleanly when you are done.

Create a project

In the employer cabinet choose New job and fill in:

  • Title and description: the AI writer can draft or improve the text, and flags wording that may discriminate (age, gender). You edit and approve.
  • Requirements: write them as short lines ("Truck certificate", "2+ years in a warehouse"). The AI checks each CV against these lines and nothing else.
  • Number of positions: how many people you will hire.
  • Application deadline: the last day to apply.
  • Hire by: the date the positions must be filled.
  • Close automatically: on by default.

Where the job is published

When you publish, the job appears on jajob.dk, in Google for Jobs, on your career page and in your website widget. It also gets its own email address, e.g. your-company+lager@jah.dk.

Active jobs count towards your plan's limit (Free 2, Pro 20, Business unlimited). Jobs collected from public feeds into the jajob catalogue don't count.

Closing a project

When the last position is filled, or when you close the project by hand:

  1. The job is taken down from jajob.dk and Google for Jobs and stops accepting applications.
  2. Everyone still in the process goes into the rejection queue, with a template per stage: a short, kind message for those who only applied, a personal one for those you interviewed.
  3. Depending on your automation settings, you review and send the queue, or it goes after a delay you can cancel. The AI never rejects anyone.

You can reopen a closed project; candidates and history stay.

Tasks

Add tasks to the project or to a candidate, such as "check references" or "book the warehouse visit", with an owner and a due date. Open tasks are shown on the project page.

Good practice

  • Set a deadline. Projects without one drift, and candidates wait.
  • Keep requirements to what really matters for the job; five to eight lines is plenty.
  • Close the project when you hire. That is what makes sure every candidate hears back.
